Most project sites put the navigation bar in the first ten pixels and then apologize with a hero card. Signal Field inverts that: the first viewport is almost empty on purpose — brand patterning, a wordmark, one sentence — and the chrome waits underneath.

That is not minimalism for its own sake. A connectome is dense; the doorway should not be.
